Banking client expands services for flexible fulfillment

April 23, 2016 Atlanta, GA. CEDAR Document Technologies (CEDAR), a provider of managed services communications and payment solutions, has launched the first of a multi-phase rollout of flexible fulfillment enhancements for an existing retail banking client. The expansion allows for greater communications servicing flexibility and a significant reduction in time spent each day manually inserting and mailing some servicing letters.

The bank first engaged CEDAR in 2015 to review all of its operational processes supporting document output management and related services.

The goal of the engagement was to identify operational issues affecting overall process automation and customer experience management and through that process make recommendations for Targeted Operational Process Improvements (TOPI) with ROI Levers and costs, according to Walker Hubbs, SVP of Professional Services for CEDAR Document Technologies.

The resulting initiatives from this review were combined in a flexible fulfillment package and included significant upgrades in the areas of welcome kit management, on-demand letter fulfillment, forms management and campaign management.

The first phase rolled out on April 23. In that phase, CEDAR expanded the bank’s existing Rapid Letter module functionality to support pre-filled forms and attachments.

A new web service integration with the bank’s servicing core system significantly increased the amount of data available for customizing and pre-filling letters automatically. New functionality within its Rapid System Letters module further expanded the bank’s flexibility to customize welcome kit packages based on a customer delivery preference, e-sign consent and account type.

Upgrades will follow in multiple phases over the next few months. Among them: CEDAR will roll out a new version of its Rapid Campaigns module which will include a new step-by-step user interface and enhanced delivery list validation. CEDAR’s Rapid Campaigns application consists of various integrated user interfaces that enable the online creation and execution of personalized and audience-targeted one-to-many e-mail and print campaigns.
